Home » Lift Station Cleaning & Pumping
Family Roots Plumbing provides lift station cleaning and pumping support for municipalities, facilities, utilities, campuses, and commercial properties across the Main Line and neighboring communities. Vacuum truck service can remove accumulated wastewater, sludge, grease, grit, and debris from accessible station components as part of planned maintenance or corrective work.
Conditions vary by station design, operating schedule, access, and material buildup. We review the requested scope with the responsible site contact and plan service around safe access, estimated quantities, operational needs, and the sequence of work.
Lift station work often requires coordination with facility or public works personnel. Our crew follows the approved plan, communicates progress, and reports visible conditions that may need additional mechanical, electrical, or system evaluation.

10/10 pipe seized on us on Friday night at 10:30 and Ray was at my house at 8am on the dot to Fix me up. He did not recommend anything we did not need. There’s not another plumber I will ever use. Ray is GREAT.Posted on Google![]()

Nick was absolutely incredible! He worked so hard in the pouring rain to unclog our main pipe- he skillfully used every piece of equipment he could think of to remove a 3in wiffle ball from a 4in pipe. We are so grateful for his expertise and time. We would recommend him and this company to anyone who needs help. Professional, kind, patient and truly dedicated to the customer and their needs. Thank you Nick!+0Posted on Google![]()

I've used this company twice now and both times they performed perfectly and quickly. The first time I had some leaks in the main water valve coming into the house and they repaired the shut off switches and has been leak free ever since. Then, this week I had water leaking in my basement in my HVAC room. The team was able to figure out it was a water heater leak, come to my house to analyze the fix, and install the new heater in only 3 hours from my initial call. Incredible service from this group, I highly recommend to anyone needing a reputable and responsive plumbing company.
Preventive cleaning can help keep accessible areas clear for inspection and routine service. Corrective cleaning may also support repair preparation or recovery from unusual buildup, depending on system conditions and access.
